Spending Time Outside
The dogs enjoyed a few days of warm and dry weather!
Hello! We finally had a few days of no rain and warmer/sunnier weather! We took advantage of this and spent more time outside with the dogs.
Last week, I took Pence to my dad’s house to free run and she had an absolute BLAST. She seems to have gotten more comfortable being around my dad lately, which is great news.

Pence also spent some time soaking in the sun in the back yard. She was rolling around in the grass and when she noticed me watching her, she froze in this position lol.

On Easter, we had a cookout at my grandparents house. There was a chance of rain, so I didn’t take Pence. If it did rain, we would’ve had to bring her inside. Since she had never been there before and didn’t know all the people there, we figured that might be a little intimidating for her. My grandma would not have been happy if Pence had a nervous accident in the house. And, Pence is shedding like no other currently.
However, Boo did attend the cookout. He’s been there many times and loves all the people and food. He’s also not a nervous pee-er and doesn’t shed anymore. Boo got lots of fatty meat scraps and some potato chips between his frolics around the property.

At one point while we were all outside eating, we wondered where Boo was. We ended up finding him curled up on the guest bed napping lol. He knew he wasn’t supposed to be up there, and jumped up when he noticed he had been found. Shh…don’t tell grandma ;)

We ended up bringing Boo back home with us after the cookout, so he’s here to stay for a while now!
Random note - if you happen to take a close look at Boo’s tag…you may notice that his name appears to be written very poorly. No, a small child did not write it.
Boo was laying on the couch when Beth decided to rewrite his name on the tag because his name wasn’t visible anymore. When she started writing the B on his tag, in true Boo fashion, he absolutely flipped out scared and ran off. Beth chased him down and was able to scribble on his name against his wishes. So now it looks like this…

That’s all for today! Have a great week!
