Snow Days!
Playing with Boo and Pence in the snow!
Hello! As we mentioned last week, we had some snow in the forecast! We ended up getting about 4.5” or so at our house and Beth and JT got about 9”! Unfortunately, our sled has not been fixed yet so we were not able to mush around the neighborhood. Our musher friends in northern Indiana didn’t see more than a few flurries, so our next adventure on a sled is still TBD.
In the meantime, we still had fun in the snow with the dogs! I wanted to take Pence to the park to free run in it, but then I remembered her fear of snow plows. Snow plows were out everywhere, working diligently to clear roads and driveways nearby, so I did not want to chance her getting spooked and running off again. So, we played in the back yard instead.

Once the plows were done with nearby driveways, we went on a walk. That was a poor idea. Pence is quite the leash puller, and I was slipping and sliding all over the place. She kept looking back at me like “you ok back there?”.

Pence then proceeded to pee in the middle of the road. I’m assuming because the snow was shallower and easier for her to do her business lol. Also, I put her little jacket on her because she looks super cute in it and it was like 12 degrees.
Boo is still at Beth’s house, but they took him to a local park to free run in the fresh snow, and it looks like he had a blast!

We have a few more inches of snow coming today too. I’m hoping to take Pence out to my dad’s to free run and enjoy the snow more without her being worried about snow plows.
That’s all for today, talk to you all soon!
