Freezing Rain is not our Friend
Crappy weather continues...but it's Riley's birthday!

Hello! Sorry about the delay in the newsletter again this week. In the mushing world, it’s been a rather slow week for us.
We’ve had THREE rounds of freezing rain in the last week. That means it hasn’t been safe for us to run the dogs on the bike or scooter. Even walks have been sketchy because they’re sled dogs, and they like to pull, which is not good for humans trying to keep balance on ice.
Of course, the sound of rain also had boo scared and seeking shelter in my closet many times. BTW, I promise I’m not really a slob. I had a bag of clothes to donate in the bottom of my closet and Boo somehow scattered them all over my closet floor while trying to make his safety nest.

Also, TOMORROW IS RILEY’S BIRTHDAY! He doesn’t know I’m telling you all, so let’s flood his social media with happy birthday messages!
