Guess who’s baaaaack?!

BOO’S BACK!!!!!!

On Saturday, I (Hannah) met Beth at the usual meeting spot to pick up Boo! He’ll be back at our house with Pence for the next few weeks!

As always, he was very excited to go for a ride in the car. There were some interstate road closures along the way, and side roads were taken instead. Boo let us know his displeasure with having to stop at stoplights and stop signs. Every time the car stopped, he would whine.

We eventually made it back to the house. He ran excitedly up to the door, wanting badly to go inside. When I opened the door, he immediately ran over to Pence in her crate and started bowing, playfully. He jumped around and made all sorts of Boo noises until I was able to get over to the crate and let her out.

Boo was obviously excited. Pence…not so much? Her expression was more of “uh oh, this wild thing is back? there goes my peace” lol. Kidding, sort of. I think she does enjoy the chiller lifestyle when he is at Beth’s house, but she also enjoys having a playmate to chase around the yard.

They settled in for the night and even shared a brief moment on the couch together. It’s hard to get a photo of them both looking, ok….lol

Boo settled right back in, just like he’d never left. It just melts my heart when he willfully comes up on the couch to lay on me!

But the funniest thing happened. When he was laying on the couch with me, I was giving him butt scritches. When I stopped the scritches, the would lean up and look at me like “hello? why did the scritches stop?”. And I would proceed to scritch again.

But one time, I didn’t acknowledge him leaning up and giving me that look…

And he did this hilarious little fake bitey thing! He gently snapped his teeth together in the air while exhaling little puffs of air to get my attention. He clearly meant zero harm with it at all, but I thought it was funny and adorable.

He was REALLY trying to get my attention. Like “b*tch did I stutter?! BUTT SCRITCHES NOW!” or something like that lol. The first couple times he did it surprised me, and I finally got a video of it! I really wish we were able to insert videos directly into this newsletter.
